South Star Trails is best known as a winter destination with over 60 kilometres of Nordic skiing, Fat Biking, Snowshoeing, Walking and Winter Running. We also have a designated winter equestrian trail that winds through the beautiful forest that is just over 5 kilometres long.
Several of our ski trails are dog friendly. All of our Fat-biking/Snowshoeing/Walking trails are dog friendly and our Equestrian trail is also dog friendly.
In Winter we notify all users when our winter trail designations are in effect. Watch for an email and Facebook post. We ask that you have a look at our winter trail map before you head out to ensure your are on the right trail. We are also on Trailforks so you can carry our map with you in your pocket at all times.
In Summer months, South Star Trails opens up all trails to all users. With this in mind, we kindly ask that you obey the Trail User Code of Ethics with multiple user types on all trails.
